(Lessons in Love)系列共有3本，第一本的女主和兩位閨蜜約定好要給倫敦最著名的浪子在愛情方面好好的上一堂課。
但其實是女主多年來恨著男主角，所以想找理由
接近教訓男主。女主在多年前失身於男主，沒想到男主是因為與朋友打賭才展開追求，此舉讓女主痛苦了多年走不出來。想到那個時代失貞是代誌很大的事情，男主在書的一開始立馬被扣分。
這種類似套路很多作家都寫過，相較之下我較欣賞瑪麗‧貝洛的賭一次真心 (雖然我不喜歡瑪麗‧貝洛這位作家)，至少書裡的男主角懸崖勒馬了，沒做出糊塗事。
這本書也是好幾年前讀的，很多劇情都忘光了，只記得當初邊看邊罵男主，男主對當年做的事情讓我感覺一點都沒有想要彌補贖罪的打算，要不是女主主動接近，這兩位應該是老死都不相往來吧!!男主太被動讓我感覺不出他的悔意和愛意，女主角也不大討人喜歡(通常我對女主都很寬容的)，勉強看完但不會想再看第二次。
這本書雖然是我喜歡的浪子類型(看書名就知道了)，故事也是我喜歡的女主復仇+舊情復燃的故事，可是男主實在太令人失望，所以我只能給兩葉，如果你不在意這點，書裡其實有些地方滿幽默的，還可以一讀。
